The Circus Song
Life is like a circus show Clowns and acrobats everywhere you go
Walking down the streets these daze things proceed in a pequiliar way.
I'd like to share my tail with you my three ring circus is like a zoo, with monkeys lions and elephants too, endlessly trained with what to do.
jump that hoop and ride that wheel everything here is quite surreal you just show me what to feel who can tell me what is real
the bearded lady the twelve foot man crazy woman eatin from a garbage can
need no sweets to not have spice
bland food it tastes so nice
I've got me and you've got you
we both got very lots to do
jump that hoop and ride that wheel
everything here is quite surreal
you just show me what to feel
who can tell me what is real
The calliopie it sits by the grassy knoll with four and twenty motley fools tryin to patch it's hole
a cold man comes by
and says with a shirk
"All of you get out of here, except the soda jerk"
and he sang
"jump that hoop and ride that wheel
everything here is quite surreal
you just show me what to feel
who can tell me what is real"
The dragon faced lady with the sunked eye
I can by and she screamed
"your fuckin high! Get off of my block and out of my neighborhood. We're taken back the streets just like we told you we would"
and she sang
"jump that hoop and ride that wheel
everything here is quite surreal
you just show me what to feel
who can tell me what is real"
What do you see when you look in my eyes?
Do you see yourself?
Does it come to your suprise?
I am me and you are too.
Wake up open your eyes and you'll know just what to do.
You'll sing
"jump that hoop and ride that wheel
everything here is quite surreal
you just show me what to feel
who can tell me what is real"
jump that hoop and ride that wheel
everything here is quite surreal
you just show me what to feel
who can tell me what is real
